After registering with the emergency room, families receive a text message inviting them to log in to a secure web-based interface and then receive real-time notifications and information about their child's status, location in the department, laboratory and imaging status, and changes in care.

Patients' families access the free multilingual digital companion, Vital's eRAdvisor, through the existing CHLA MyVisit portal, without account registration or downloading any application.

According to the company's website, she used generative AI and machine learning to create a doctor-to-patient translation engine that transforms clinical notes, image and lab results, and more for a 5th grade reading level. Its AI tools also offer patient education, real-time surveys, service requests, follow-up scheduling, and more.
